Melancholy

This track was something I started a few months ago, and went through many changes and forms before completion. This started out as an entirely different track, with the only similarity being the plucked guitar. I wasn’t a big fan of the previous version, and felt like it wasn’t really going anywhere so I salvaged the guitar sound, and built a new track around it.

The main focus of this track is the Moog style synth, with everything else acting as support. I included quite a few transitions/crashes/fills etc, that are used as a bridge between sections, and also to keep things interesting throughout the song.

This is something I started a few months ago, but only just got around to finishing it. I really enjoyed writing this, and I’m curious as to what you think of it as well. Please let me know in the comments below!
