My name is Matt, and I create and design audio for video games, as well as other forms of visual media. I have a BA (Hons) in Music Industry Practice at the Academy of Contemporary Music and I’m extremely passionate about all things audio. I love designing and implementing original audio for video games, and have also done some original compositions for films.
During my final 6 months of university, I acquired work experience at a local studio by the name of Big Smoke Studios. While there I gained valuable experience working with clients and acquired real time experience working in a studio environment. Since then I’ve been doing all I can to learn new techniques and software, and improving upon my skills acquired through university. I’ve been learning audio middleware software such as FMOD and Wwise, even going as far as to acquire the Wwise 101 certificate, and plan to acquire the 201 certificate in the near future. I’ve also spent a lot of time learning audio implementation through Unreal Engine 4’s blueprints.
